A delegation of 30 people from organizations and institutions in the field of energy, energy efficiency, energy transition, green energy and environmental protection from France, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and several municipalities of our country visited part of the factories and power plants of the FERO INVEST group, as a leader in the energy transition in our country.
The attendees got acquainted with the energy-efficient electric and hydrogen vehicles for maintaining hygiene in urban environments, which are produced in BRAKO, while details about this high-tech and environmentally friendly product were presented by the operations director Angel Angjushev.
In the Ovchepol region, guests from abroad visited the bio gas power plant Bio Enterprise in Saramzalino, where project manager Arti Qormemeti informed them about the production process that has zero pollution, i.e. the production of biogas, which then serves as fuel for the production of electricity.
The delegation was also at the location of the Central Invest photovoltaic power plant in Kočani, which is also an investment of the Fero Invest and Central Invest groups.
The visit organized by Habitat-Macedonia was part of the EXCITE project, which within the European program Horizon 2020 aims to directly improve action plans in 25 municipalities across Europe in relation to climate change.
